ARTSNUG PRESENTS:

artsnug launches in Kentish Town with an exhibition by UK-based Swiss artist Linda Bernhard.

Linda Bernhard’s work is inspired by her everyday experiences, observations and surrounding environments. she’s interested in places, objects, journeys, memories and stories, rural landscapes and urban spaces. her hand-cut paper collages draw on innumerable sources of things she’s seen, read, or heard; becoming abstract representations of her own experiences. they express a love of color, a sense of humor, and play with the boundary between abstract and representational.

Elina Gough, the founder of artsnug, said “we see ourselves as the art world’s matchmakers – finding the right artist and coffee shop match that will resonate with the audience. being a Kentishtowner myself, this exhibition was particularly important to me. I’m very pleased about the outcome as Linda Bernhard’s irreverent work fits perfectly into the always upbeat and buzzing Two Doors Down”.

“Encounters | Begegnungen | Rencontres” launches on Monday 9th February at Two Doors Down and will feature a selection of hand-cut paper collages and giclée prints, all available to purchase on  www.artsnug.com.
